Martha Rich illustrates “Our World Ocean”

Martha Rich was commissioned to create the cover illustration and page art for “Our World Ocean”, written and created by Professor Sean Chamberlin.  The book aims to help readers understand the world ocean as a system of interdependent parts and processes, and it provides a survey of ocean science as it’s practiced by oceanographers in the twenty-first century.  Martha’s playful paper cut illustrations are a fun invitation for the reader, and you can click here to order your own copy.  Here’s a sneak peek:
