Lucie Rice was commissioned by The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, to create a series of portrait illustrations for a special issue of their Torchbearer Magazine. This feature, “Lighting the Way“, highlights some of the amazing volunteer work performed by a few of the alumni, faculty, staff, and friends, and the story is part of the University of Tennessee’s 225th anniversary celebration.
