Calef Brown illustrates for Fit Pregnancy Magazine

Calef Brown illustrated a new piece for Fit Pregnancy Magazine. The illustration was for a story on postpartum depression, and ways expectant moms can be prepared and learn about it. We love the way the piece turned out — so Calef!

In his own words:
“The title of the piece – Out of the Blue – suggested not only something appearing suddenly, but also the isolation of being adrift at sea. I wanted to depict the feelings of isolation and darkness of the subject, but also reflect the hopeful and positive aspects of the article, which is why I included a lighthouse in the painting.”
