The iShares art installation in Grand Central Station has come down, but it was a great success and we’re proud to have been a part of it. The original artwork will be auctioned off and the proceeds will go to Uncommon Schools to benefit their arts education programs. Uncommon Schools is a nonprofit organization that starts and manages outstanding urban charter public schools (in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts) that close the achievement gap and prepare low-income students to graduate from college. If you weren’t able to see the art on display, then here’s a glimpse of what you missed:
From Top to Bottom: Joel Nakamura, Martha Rich, Terri Fry Kasuba, Calef Brown, Hannah Stouffer, Craig LaRotonda. |
